well its done

I had previously asked a question about laying tile over a painted concrete floor. I got back the reply that I was going to have to remove the paint.

Well I did it this weekend. It took about 22 hours and over 100 bucks in sand paper. I am glad to be back at work today as I need the rest.

To those of you who grind concrete floors for a living you are better men then me. I simply could not do that for a living. It was a 22 hours battle that I don't care to do again. Had I known what I know now I could learn to love vinyl.

I know it was alot of work, but it was the first step toward a proper tile installation that will last for many years. In a decade you'll be glad you didn't cut corners.
