Once the tiles r laid , how long does it take for them to set properly? and when should the grout be applied? what is sealant?

I usually tile one day, grout the next, and seal the next. Sealant is grout sealant (some are sprayed on, some are applied with a bottle and little roller made for this), protects the grout from staining etc., there are SOME that can be oversprayed without cleaning the tile, and some that cannot, so read the instructions carefully. If it doesn't say it CAN be oversprayed(or otherwise gotten on the tile) and left to evaporate, assume it CANNOT be.
