Cool change design/color of tile?

We have ceramic tile as a backsplash above our counter top. It is white with blue squiggleys in each corner. We changed the color of the kitchen walls and now the blue squiggleys don't match. Is there anyway to cover up the blue or change the color of the tile without having to tear them down and replace? They are in great shape. It seems silly when there are just those 4 small designs in each corner of the tile. All white is fine. And if we do take them down, what's the easiest way of removing them?

Thanks.

Not that i know of,you could use acrylic paint on the tile but it looks bad, like painted tile, you would be better of just taking the old down and starting over.Depending on the age of tile it may be fairly easy to remove the tile from the wall just bet a 6" putty knife and get behind the the tile and pry out taking care not to damage the drywall behind the tile, then get as much of the paper that will be left hanging off the drywall to get a flatter surface to set the new tile on

Hi, I am an artist. I actually painted a grape design on my tile back splash. I used artist acrylic paint which normally dries flat. I mixed a small amount of clear glue into the paint. Then I gave it coat of artist gloss acrylic and it looks great. You can buy both in any art supply store. That was 3 years ago and it has held up nicely. But you must not clean with harsh cleaners. A little light soap and water will do. Make sure the surface is sparkling clean before you paint.
