Ugly Grout

Ugly Grout
I have a newly tiled shower with a messy grout job. Is there a better method of removing all the grout? Or do I have to take all the tiles down and start all over again?

How is the Grout job messy?
Is there still grout on the tiles? or do the grout lines look bad?
Sulfumic acid can be used to soften grout that has dried on the tiles. Its available at local home centers. Follow the directions to the letter and make sure you have adequate ventilation as this stuff is strong. Safety equipment is a must. Other than that you can use a STIFF brush and build muscles. The grout will come off but it does take a while.
Good luck and post back with your results.

You will need a grout saw, readily available at home stores. Use saw as per instructions. Not sure how much you have to remove but I do not envy you. You may also want to try a rotary tool, such as Dremel, with the grout removal attachment. Be careful, a slip is not good with the high speeds of these tools. Good luck with your project and post back.
