Repairing Cracks in Marble

I have some slabs of marble boardering my fireplace. There are two big cracks in the top piece.

Is there any way to fill these with something that will look decent? Or is there another way to go about fixing these?

Call some local stone countertop fabricators. They may be able to fill the cracks with material similar to what they use when seaming two slabs together on a countertop. What caused the crack? If new you should find out the cause to make sure it doesn't happen again.

You can call a stone supply house and request some poyester knife grade adhesive. Get some tint, mix, stuff in cracks, scrape off excess with a razor and let dry. When dry, usually in 5 mins, you can take a new razor and holding it low, scrape in one direction the excess from the face of your slab. You may need to dremel out the cracks so that the poly will have a place to hold.

It's that easy.
