My father in law got one and did his house with it. I would say you get what you pay for. it probably would do a do it yourself job but definetely not for commercial use.
i just used it for some tiles in my bathroom. It did a great job once I got the hang of it, but I only had to cut about 8 tiles. For a bigger job, I would try something else.
I was going to buy a ready made shower base, and use that for a shower that we're installing, until someone recommended building our own shower enclosure, and tiling the entire thing.
- Has anyone done this?
- Is it particularly hard/anything to watch out for?
- Are there any books on how to do it?
Thanks,

I have a house built in 1961, that has the old bathroom floor tiny tiles, and yes we have both yellow and mint green, the popular colors from then. I want to either put vinyl or maybe the Pergo floors but I'm concerned about seeing the indents of the grout show through. Do I need to rip up the existing floor, or can I go over it. Also I don't want the floor to be too high up. Thanks for the advise in advance!!!!Read More
