what tile for concrete patio

I have a concrete patio that I want to cover in tile. My question is what type of tile would be the best porclen, ceramic, ect, is there certain tile used for outdoors only, any thing special I should look for when I go and buy it? I live in Houston, TX so I dont have to worry about deep freeze or snow.

Stick with porcelain, it has minimal water absorption in case you do get a rare freeze.
What condition is the slab in? Any cracks, any paint or sealers applied to the surface? Any settling or low areas where the water collects and doesn't run off?

The slab is in good shape no cracks or paint/sealer it does have a slight slope so water runs off no standing water.
