Sulfamic acid is not the solution to your grout color that dried too light. It is an odorless mild acid used to remove grout haze and residue from tiles without damage to grout. Grout can be removed (not an easy task) and replaced with desired color or it can be covered with a grout colorant in a color more to your liking (not an easy task).

Hard to believe HD doesn't have it. It comes in a small plastic jar..yellow with a green screwtop lid. Like a jar of Noxema cold cream. It's usually right beside all the other TileLab sealers in the tile section.

IF you like the color of the grout when it's wet, then using a color enhancing sealer may help. It's not perfect, but it will darken the joints and make them more uniform.
