adding grout to tiled floor
#1

I have just finished tiling my bathroom floor (1st time doing this), and noticed that one small section of the joints between several tiles has a lower level of grout in it. Am I being a maniac perfectionist to notice this, or can I add additional grout to bring it up flush with the tiles? Do I need to wait until the entire floor has fully dried?
Since I posted this thread this morning, I am now noticing small cracks in these joints as they are drying. Did I not fill them enough with grout? I still have the same question; can I add more grout, and when? (Nothing is sealed)
Thanks for any help!

By adding more grout, you run the risk of it flaking out because the new layer will be so thin. It would be best to dig out the area of concern about 2/3 of the way down the side of the tiles and then put new grout in. How wide are your grout lines and did you use sanded or unsanded grout? What is on the subfloor under the new tiles?

NO PREMIXED anything that comes in a bucket for floor tile, Mastic is the only adhesive that can be used, and it is for walls only in dry areas with ceramic 8x8 or smaller, and never use it with stone.
