Easy one - caulk or grout?

So, I've got my new tile floor laid down and grouted. I also put up a single row of tile on the bottom of the wall near the floor. Then I painstakingly grouted that with my fingers. I left a little bit of space between the two, and now plan fill that gap.

Should caulk be used here (water barrier, allows for any possible shifting of walls/floor, etc) or should I be using grout? What's traditionally done?

(And yes, I caulked next to the tub. No grout worries there!)
