In the kithchen areaof the kitchen I have found below old floor covering some de;ightful quarry tiles. Trouble is they are covered with cement screed in places and tile adhesive in others. I have used a mallet and wall papper stripper to physically smash the two apart. (with so far no dammage to the tiles !)

Its realy slow and hard work any tips ?
Also any ideas on cleaning the tiles ?

Hi, Yes there is a much quicker way of removing cement from tiles what you require is an acid that removes cement by disolving it, go to your local hardware store for more help there are variouse acids that do variouse jobs without damaging the underlying product ie tiles, tarmac and the like, always follow the safty rules on the container as these products can be harmful to your health, I hope that this helps a little.
