How to lay out tile
Hello! I want to put new tile into my kitchen. I am wondering how should I begin to lay out the tile? Should I start a any paticular corner? in the middle? I will have to cut the tile so the edges of the kitchen will have smaller peices, is there a specific area I should put the smaller tiles, so it doesnt look bad?

Every job is layed out differently, but standard practice is not to have small cuts at the walls, sometimes this is unavoidable in some areas, depending on the layout of the walls and such.
NEVER start in a corner, if the room is somewhat square, find the middle in both directions, from that mark, lay the tiles dry till they hit the wall, if you have a small piece to cut to the wall, move the first tile on that mark so it goes through the middle of the tile, this will give you a bigger piece at the wall, the other side should be the same, do this in both directions, till your happy with the layout.
For bathrooms, I always try starting with full off the tub, and ajust from there, if hallways are included or the tile runs into other areas, snap lines or use lasers to see if it works from one room to the other, this can get difficult to do and takes time, layout is everything.
