Wet saws

I have looked (a lot) for reviews on wet saws to cut tile. I was ready to purchase the MK370EXP, but then read reviews that it has some issues. Then I read some reviews that the cheapy $88 from HD works well. Basically I have three bathrooms to tile in my house, with the possibility of doing the laundry room and possible kitchen, all totaling over 500 sq. ft. I have no qualms about purchasing a good wet saw (~$300-500) if it is significantly better than a $100 one. Can anyone offer any advice on a good quality wet saw?

Any info will be much appreciated!

I got a felker TM-75, had to order online.

$300.

Used it on my first bath, with no other experience with wet saws, it works great.
I have about 3 more rooms to go and sure beats having to rush and run saws back and forth to the rental store.
The motor "feels" like it is just the right power and very quiet when no tile is being pushed through.

Just buy the one at home depot. It is cheap and works just fine. It may not last as long as a more expensive one but you don't need it to last long. Save your money.

Heres my vote for the Felker, the cheap ones spray water forward on you, wont be fun for 500 ft worth of tile, plus its easier to make plunge cuts on the Felker if you need to cut a hole in the tile.

Thanks...

Thanks for everyones input. As of yesterday my house tiling job just got bigger, three bathroms, a laundry room, kitchen, and possibly a long hallway... I didn't do the math exactly but I am way over 1000 sqft. So after much heated debate with my husband on what to do, we purchased the MK Diamond MK100 with the cutting kit for $600. It was more than we originally planned on spending but we prefer to invest in tools that will last. I have to admit I think I like power tools more than my husband does, and anyway, I'm the one who is going to be doing all the work. Where I live the selection of brands is slim and my time frame was short, so it was the MK or the yellow one at HD. At least I have some tile someone gave me that I can practice cutting on before using the real ones. Wish me luck!
