removing ceramic tile floor with mortar base
Dear forum members:
I am new to do it yourself. Please can some clue me in as to the best way to remove a ceramic tile floor that was install over a cement thinset mortar base.
The mortar base was used to level the floor, but some of the tiles have cracked. It is possible that the subflooring was not well secured prior to putting down the mortar.
Thank you in advance.

Best and quickest would be to rent a chipping hammer at the tool rental center, put a 2" spade on it and go get them tiles. If you have a helper clean up behind you it will go even faster.
