Removing shower tile to repair leak

I can't get ceramic tile to come off easily
from my shower floor. It took me 1/2 hour
to remove one- one inch tile by using a
drill. I want to completely remove all tile
in shower for a re-do; so saving them is not important. HELP! Is there a quick way?
