Tile Floor with heating strips ???
Lino & luan ripped out and the backerboard is down (unmod-thinset & screwed down). I am ready to start laying tile and my wife mentions "heating strips" for the kitchen.
Are heating strips placed under tile worth the cost/effort in a kitchen?
Is there any real heat gain from the heat strips?
Subfloor is 3/4 in plywood.
The Pro's or Con's?
Thanks for your help...

Pro's, nice warm tile under bare feet and a warmer room.
Con's, Expensive, if you pay high electric rates, as I do, even more to run, I myself wouldn't invest in it to use as my sole heating source for a room.
Hot water tubing maybe, not electric.
