Kickplate Saw ?

I have heard about a saw called a kickplate saw ( to cut ceramic tile close to the cabinet base ), how hard is this saw to use? I am an industrial arts teacher so, although I am not a pro, I am pretty handy. Is it a wet saw?

Scroll down to the bottom one, this is a dangerous tool, hold on with both hands tightly, this isn't a toy.

Thank you tileman! What about the toe kick saw? Will it do the job also? I have to remove ceramic tile up to the kitchen cabinets...how would you suggest doing this job....SAFELY?

The bottom one IS a toekick saw.

Oh by the way, you have posts all over the place, keep everything in one thread, don't start new with every question, easier to keep track of you and your project.

If you are just breaking up the old tile you could use an electric demolition hammer, slow it down when you get close to the cabinets and work a flatbar under the tile chunks that touch the cabinets. That toe kick saw was invented by Saddam for use in his torture chambers.
