4" wet saw

I am planning to put tile down in a small area (40 sq ft). When inquiring if they cut tiles, the person at Lowes said they saw a portable 4" wet saw for about $50 (to buy). Has anyone had experince with this type of saw??

It will probably do the job for you, and maybe on or two more small ones before it craps out on you. And wear something waterproof because the spin of the blade sprays the water at you. Use a good pencil or other marker to draw your lines on the tile and follow the line when cutting. Is this floor or walls and what size is your tile?

My boss and I use one of these when we install tile. It works just fine for 12" tiles, but you would need a bigger blade for bigger tiles. Tileguybob is correct, this is like an amusement park ride, you will get wet.

The blade that comes with it will do 12" tile, don't think you can use bigger blades on these saws anyway, the one I used once that someone had only could use the 4" blade.
