Grout cleaning product

Just had grout installed [not sealed] in kitchen and bathrooms. Unsure what advise to accept such as to "seal grout Or what type of grout cleaning products" for the following problem: Grout discolored due to water and cats' accident.

Any suggestions?

Most tile retailers will sell you a grout cleaning product, there are many out there. Use that first, then get a good sealer like Aqua Mix Sealers Choice Gold 15 for the grout. Wait several days between cleaning the grout and applying the sealer.

Floor uneven after installing 1/4 inch Hardibacker

Hello All, I've been working on my porch for the last few days (or trying to) installing ceramic tile. Read through all the threads and just want to make sure i'm doing this right. After installing the Hardibacker, I laid and cut all the tile I will be using. If you were to walk on some of the tiles they would wobble (uneven). From what I understand I must use a SLC to even these spots on top of the hb. How much will I expect to use and what type do you reccommend? I really don't want to spend much more $ on this project (way over buget already). Any information will be greatly appriciated. :confused:Read More

Hello Folk's, Recently bought a house with white countertops. Best I can tell, they are either some type of stone or fake stone. They are too light to be stone, I think. By looking at the ends they are 1 inch solid, not laminate. The counters are nice looking except the previous owner didn't believe in cutting boards and have knive marks all over the place.(maybe a hint that they are not stone)Can I grind or sand the marks out and somehow buff the tops back to life?
