"Food-safe" grout sealer
As important as it supposedly is to have "food-safe" grout sealer on countertops, how come I can't find any brands of grout sealers out there that specify whether theirs is in fact food safe? I have a bottle of Aqua Mix Advanced Stain Barrier grout sealer, but there's no indication on it pertaining to it being food safe.

I found their website (or one that sells their product) and it states it is food safe. Link included below. Good luck.

That's a good question. Usually those products are safe after they have cured, since the solvents in them will eventually disappear. I know that epoxy grouts are nasty in their separate states, but once mixed and cured, that are food safe. Hmmm? good question.

Aquamix is a great company. I sent them this email, and they've replied already!
I asked your question, and got this:
Great question...
Once our sealers have reached their full cure time as it is stated on the label. The sealed surface is safe for food contact.
