Checking For Broken Tiles
This Will Be My First Time Buying Ceramic Tiles And I Have Been Looking Around And Noticing Alot Of Broken Tiles. How Can I Tell When I Purchase My Cases That The Tiles On The Inside Of The Box Are Not Cracked Since You Can Only See A First In The Box?
Also Have You Ever Heard A A Backer For Ceramic Tile That Comes In A Roll? If So What Has Been Your Experience With It?
When You Seal The Seams On Backer Board Do You Put The Tape And Mud On Just Before You Put The Tiles Down Or Can There Be Some Time In Between Because It Seems Like It May Take Me More Than One Day To Do The Backer Board And Then The Tiles?
Thanks So Much You Are Great Info.

Broken tiles in a box do happen. Sometimes it is tough to tell until the box gets opened. Buyer Beware, I guess. Dont know what else to tell you unless you can pick up each box and shake it, that might not even tell.
Underlayment on a roll, as in "Ditra" the orange web mat? Good stuff.
You can mud and tape as you go, in fact that is preferred so you dont have a dried hump at the seam that causes some uneveness when setting the tile.
