To mist or not to Mist...
This is a slightly different question than the one posed a few threads down. I have a Polyblend grout that is tan (technically called camel). I have read and been told to mist which i was going to do, but one of the tiling books i have says not to mist tinted grout as it may create spotting and color variation on the grout. Is any color considered tinted? The polyblend says to mist but i figure that those are general directions that they put on all their bags regardless of color.
thanks,
Pat

You can mist once a day for three days starting the day after the grout is installed. After 24 hours of setup it wont bleed out any of the color. The misting slows down the cure ultimately makingb the grout harder. But in reality most grout never gets misted, maybe one in 20 do.
