Floor & cabinet prep before tiling
#1

My kitchen cabinets have leveling wood that sticks out about 3/8 to 1/2 inch along the base cabinets. Do I cut these flush before installing the tiles or do I use them for a guide for later?
THANKS!

Are Wood Leveling Sticks Shims
If your cabinets are new they made have been leveled with what are commonly know as shims. You want to cut these off if they stick out past the edge of the cabinet base buut only if the cabinets are both plumb and level and achored into the wall studs.
