White marble is now GREEN!

We installed white marble flooring today and it looks green. Any suggestions on what we did wrong?

Answer the above question, but do understand that "white" marble will darken due to the moisture in the setting material for a few days to a week or until it dries out. If anything other than white thinset was used it could also be a staining problem.

Red face

White adhesive was used. And we have spoken to a couple tile installers and were told by both the same thing -- it gets dark because of the moisture and to wait a few days for drying and the color should return to white. What a relief! I thought we were going to have to do it all over again.

Thanks for your replies.
