grouting question
I just got done laying 250 feet of 12 x12 tile spaced at a 1/4 inch. I removed most of the thinset while tiling with a carpenter pencil and a damp cloth, but there is still some remanants of mortar on the inside edges of the tile. How much thinset should be removed before gouting and whats the best method? Is chippin away with a razor knife the best way to go?
Also I used white versabond when I thought the grout color was going to be a light color, now my mom change her mind and went with a darker gout color,
should I be concerned that this will affect the grout color.
