epoxy tile grout

Getting readt to grout new ceramic tile in kitchen. The man at Lowes recommended this new epoxy grout - he said it doesn't have to be sealed and stands up to moisture problems better than cement-based. Cost is way way higher. Anyone used this stuff and do I need to to do anything different than I would with the regular grout? Thankyou, Ted

It is good stuff. If stain proofing the grout is a real high priority because of some past bad experience then give it a try. If you have never used it before, take the time to read and reread the directions. You only get one chance to get it right. Your other option would be a regular cement grout that can be mixed with a latex additive, then applying a sealer coat, but that still wont be as good as the epoxy for stain resistance.
