Why A Wet Saw When Rotozip Works?
Why is a wet saw recommended for cutting porcelain or ceramic tile? Is there a big advantage over the rotozip with a diamond blade on it?

They both will cut tile just fine, you just have more trouble controlling a rotozip and will therefore usually have much straighter cuts with the wet saw.

I have had much trouble cutting floor tiles with a rotozip. Perhaps there was a better cutter but with the 'tile cutter' it was very slow going and I was afraid I'd burn out the motor. For wall tiles, no problem. And using a piece of wood and good old fashion double stick solves the problem of crooked cuts.

rotozip will also create a lot, (A LOT) of dust. The wet part of the wet saw keeps the dust down. Course then you have tile mud, but it's better than breathing that stuff.
I had little trouble cutting ceramic wall tiles with the zipper, but I can imagine buying enough bits to purchase a proper wet saw if I was doing floor tiles or porcelain.
