steam room ceiling material
I am convering a 36"x36" 8' high shower to a steam/shower unit. I use Swanstone shower pan as the bottom. I plan to tile on three walls. Questions:
1) For the wall, which one is better for the back of tiles: 1/2" cement backer board or 1/2" HardyBacker?
2) I will close out ceiling a bit to make 7'6" high. I am looking for light but waterproof pre-finished material for steam room's ceiling. Would you recommand any pre-finished material?
If I can not find good, affordable material for ceiling, I may use tile over backer board, do you think any trouble I use 8"x10" tiles which matches the one on the walls?
Thank you very much for any input you provide.

Either will be fine and should be used on the ceiling as well, which should be pitched as well, the whole area has to be waterproofed as well with a membrane made for tiling, seeing this is a steam shower.
