Touching up grout

Our dark colored grout in the bathroom is a bit discolored in spots. I wanted to know if there was any product that could touch it up. The grout lines are a bit thick as I have 12 X 12 tile. I have not sealed the grout (like I was supposed too). I am not sure if that helps or hinders at this point. I would prefer not to re-grout. Also, I thought I heard once if you seal the tile and grout - that tends to darken it back up.

Thanks.

An impregnating sealer MAY darken up the grout but if you do that and it does not work you have to strip the sealer off before you can go to Option #2 which is to use a grout colorant. That will give you a uniform color throughout, last a long time, and also act as a sealer. Try looking at www.groutdye.com or google AquaMix to see what is involved in going this route. Some colorants are easier to work with and clean up than others. Stay away from the cheap ones though, big trouble there.
