Building a shower enclosure ( good reading material).

Hello, I'm in the process of redoing my basement bathroom and would like to build a shower pan. I have been looking through books but just can't seem to find anything. Any good reading info on framing the shower to mesh, water proofing, setting the mud, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Any recommendations and/or tips would be helpful, too. Thanks for your help.

John

Depending on the final surface, you may want to post your question in the Ceramic Tile Forum. Good luck.

Take a look at www.ontariotile.com/index.html and look on the right side (i think) about building a shower stall with a mud pan. Its a pretty good walk through with a lot of pictures.

I always thought this was the "Tile Section". Where is the other one?
