Grout
We laid ceramic tile over plywood two months ago, and the grout in spots keep flakeing. We replaced the grout, and it does the same thing over again. Did we use the wrong grout? We used sanded grout. Wished we never put it down. Can you help?

When grout cracks out that quickly it is most likely an indication that the subfloor has too much movement in it. What kind of plywood is under the tile and what kind of thinset did you use to set the tile?, Was the ply thoroughly cleaned of all dust, paint spray, spackle, etc? What is the size of the floor joist, what is the spacing between joists and how long is the unsupported span of the joist? Need to know to identify possible reasons for the movement.
Dont blame the tile, you probably got some bad advice along the way that sabotaged the installation.
