water leak on unsealed grout - now darker

I laid a new tile floor, on wonderboard, followed advice on this board. I grouted, turned out great. After re-installing the dishwasher, I noticed a leak and found some standing water on my two day old unsealed grout. Fixed the leak, and the grout in that area that was a light beige turned almost chocolate brown. I've used different types of mild cleansers to try to clean it but it wont come anywhere close to the color of the rest of the floor. Any clue as to what could have happened? I used bagged thinset and grout I had to mix at HD, none of the premix stuff. I'm sure the grout was totally soaked through as the leak went a couple hours before I noticed it. The rest of the grout, all mixed at the same time, all looks great. Any suggestions would be appreciated.,

Sounds like the "dirty" water from the dishwasher permanently stained it.... Did you try bleaching the affected grout? Otherwise, grout replacement may be the only option...

You can also cut out affected grout with dremmel and replace it.
