Shower from scratch, Do I need cement floor???

I want to replace my fiberglass shower completely with tile, I was told that I would have to "pour" a cement floor and then lay the tile on that because it has to be graded so it will drain, Is that true? If so, are there any pre-fabricated floors that I could purchase? And if a cement floor is neccessary, are the floor joists in a newer model mobile home strong enough to support the extra weight, because I tip the scales at 300 lbs all by myself! I was looking forward to the DIY project, but now I don't know. Thanks for any advise.
