Dap Slc

Has anybody ever used the DAP brand slc?

It was the only brand available at my Lowes store and I've read in here several threads to use primer, primer, primer prior to slc. I looked all around and didn't see any primer available for the DAP slc, so I am wondering if it is any good.

I need to use it over a slab floor that has previously had the old vinyl tile squares glued with the cutback adhesive. I've removed as much as the adhesive as I can but there is a lot of discoloration left. Will this cause any adhesion problems?

Thanks...Randy

Here'sa link to the DAP leveler I bought.

THAT product IS NOT a "self levelling" product. It is only a patching product. It's too bad they chose to put the name on it that they did. BUT, if you read the instructions you will see it clearly says to use an additive.

Go to Home Depot and buy their "Self Levelling Compound" by Custom.

Thanks Bud. I already bought the Level Quick at HD. Just couldn't bring myself to use the DAP stuff without knowing its history. This stuff is too permanent to guess at. Oh, and I got the primer also, so I feel better about that, since I'll be putting it over cutback adhesive.
