floor or wall first?

Greetings! I'm renovating a bathroom and plan to use tile on the floor as well as putting in a wainscot. It seems to me that the floor should go down first, but I'm not sure. Any recommendations would be appreciated...I've done floor work before, but not walls.

I would do the walls first for the simple reason that you wont have to worry about spilling thinset or grout on your new floor. good luck.

Do the walls first leaving out the bottom row, then tile the floors and install the bottom row of wall tile, then caulk that joint with a matching color caulk to the grout.
