stone,tile, or concrete?

We want to put down a slate looking tile but one that is irregular in shapes and looks like real stone on the floor. What is the name I am looking for?Do they sell large tiles(12x12 and up) like that, or is it real stone or stamped concrete? I see it in magazines all the time.If it is concrete, can you get the same effect by making your own stamps? If so what can I use to make the different shaped stamps?

It sounds like you're looking for a product called Tracks that used to be marketed by Avantile and I believe is now carried by Interceramic, but it isn't irregular shaped. Perhaps you could break it up some to accomplish the irregular shapes.

I find the concrete looks very fake. I have seen folks "tile" with flagstone before, but usually in outdoor applications (ie to make a patio).
