Wall tile beginner question

Hi there! Is there a difference between wall tiles and floor tiles? I am looking to add a row of about 2 feet high of tiles on the wall in my bathroom. I saw some tiles that are 4x4 that look kind of nice but they seem thicker than other tiles I've seen. Is there a reason? If there is a difference, how can I tell when I'm at the store?

Thanks!

I'm not a tile expert but

Floor tiles are stronger than wall tiles, you can use floor tiles on the wall but it is a bad idea to use wall tiles on the floor.

Marks right. You can use floor tile on the wall, but no wall tile on the floor.

Not a pro, but to tell the difference if it helps at all, wall tiles are thinner and more porous on the back side of the wall tiles vs. the floor tiles. The reason for this is for better adherence.
