Do I need to use Redguard?

Hi all:
I'm retiling my bathroom floor for the second time (I'm undoing all the mistakes I made last time!), and would like to know if I need to use Redguard or not.
It's a cement slab floor, I used self-leveling compound to prep the floor. I'll be using Mapei Ultraflex2 (that's what the tile co. said they use) and laying a ceramic mosaic tile. Is Redguard needed or would that be overkill? The slab had no cracks that I could see.

Thanks for all the help!

No, you wont need it. You said there were no cracks and the Ultraflex thinset has some give to allow for slight flexing in the floor.

Keep a bucket of water and a sponge handy so you can clean all thinset from the mosaic grout lines as you go. This will make it easier when you grout, especially if the grout color does not match the thinset color. A small straight edge screwdriver or a long thin nail would help in getting the thinset out of the lines too.
