Question Terrazzo Tile - remove carpet glue on top of these tiles

Please help!! I am trying to remove the carpet glue from some 25 year old carpet that was laid on top of some 36 square inch Terrazzo Tile. Is there a compound or solution that can be mixed or purchased to remove this ugly glue so that we can restore these tiles here ay my office.

Thanks,

They do make some powerful adhesive remover for stuff like this. You could possibly use "wallpaper adhesive" remover. It's like a thick clear paste you apply with a brush. This stuff is strong and the room should be well ventilated when applying.

I don't think this would have any adverse effects on the tile since the tile is kilned.

There are all kinds of adhesive removers available. Most will still require a lot of effort on your part. Many will require good ventilation. I commonly use mineral spirits, but had some adhesive in the office recently that was better loosened with WD40.
