spacers

I am about to lay 12 inch porcelean tile tommorow. I bought 1/4 6mm tile spacers. Is this the correct spacers for 12inch tile?

"correct" is a relative term with spacers. They help determine the size of your grout joints and, if you want 1/4 inch grout joints, then, yes, they're correct. My personal preference for less experienced installers is 1/4 inch spacing because they tend to be a bit more forgiving and make it easier to hide imperfections in tile sizes or installation.

Which ones did you get, the ones that look like x's or the orange ones from Lowes. I just got done doin mine with Porceline and I will tell you the orange ones were easier to use as you can use them in the corners. The orange ones are 1/4" and are double sided with a straight line on one and an + on the other side. Hope this helps out a bit. Cheers Brian.
