unleveled floor

I'm installing a ceramic floor in my bathroom...I put down 3/4 p;ywood which is not completely level...my question is do I put down floor leveler before the hardyback or after...What type of leverer should I use?...Thanks

The floor doesnt necessarily have to be level, but it does have to be pretty flat. That being said, how out of level is it? If theres a lot of leveling to do, you could use self leveling compound (slc) over the plywood directly and tile right to the slc. If theres just a few dips, you could put down cement board and then do your leveling with a patching compound.
