Question temperature range for tile laying

Hi,
Can tile be installed at any temperature or does it need to be at a certain point in order for the thin set to cure properly? I'm going to have a little time off during this winter & was wondering if I could do it then. Thanks.

Stewart,

So this is an exterior project? Temps vary from areas, would be nice if you had told us where you are.

How about you take a few minutes to explain the project?

Most, Im not sure about all, thinsets say not to install if the room temperature and temperature of the substrate is below 50 degrees. If its warmer than 50 degrees you should be ok.

Needs to be 50 to 55 for at least 7 days 24hrs. a day.

Just because it's inside doesn't mean those are the temps you might have, been inside in new construction where heaters were needed.
