Concerete floor
Our living room has granite tile floor. We want to change it to smoothe concerete floor.
What kind of questions we should ask to the company we will hire to make sure they know what they are doing? Is concerete floor recomended for interior, and also interior steps.Base is wood.
Thank you

Tilejob, you are the family that had the poor installation of granite, correct? What was the resolution with the contractor? Was he honorable and returned your money? Did you have to get an attorney?
Why are you making this inquiry? Please let us assist you and perhaps we can help you avoid further problems.

Yes we are the one had problems with the contractor. We havent done anything about contractor yet. First we need to fix this floor somehow. We havent able to use our living room and kitchen since more than 2 months. We have a friend who does tile work, he has some friends that does the concerete floor, he suggested that it will be suitable for our house. We need to go see one house that they did a job recently. On the pictures it looks beatiful.
We clalled grinding company to fix the tile, they did a demo, but results are not that great. Also it will coast too much anyway, instead of spending money on grinding we prefer to get new job, either tile or concerete. This is where we are right now.
And we never spoke to contractor since we fired him. We dont think he has any money to refund us, We must be his biggset job ever.
