Quarry Tile Cleaning
My new house has a lovely sunroom and the floor is standard "Big Box Store" quarry tile.
The previous owner had finished it with Armstong Floor Polish. Now the polish has worn and there is a white residue on the tiles.
I contacted one professional and his price was outrageous. Is stripping the old finish a DIY project? I tried beach and acetone (not together) but neither worked. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me what chemicals to use and how to use them in stripping the polish off. Thank you for any help. VWR

Jheeeezh!!!
Go to ACE Hardware they usually have an extensive janitorial type chemical department and sell a stripper that will work, it's not a big deal to do. READ AND FOLLOW the instructions on the label.
