porcelain on plywood?

hi all...

been a while since visiting here.

just complete tiling a bathroom with porcelain tile with durock and then plywood underneath. at the door, i'll be transitioning the tile into the dressing area/walk in closet.

is it a good idea to durock the walkin closet as well or is it ok to lay the tile directly on my 3/4" plywood that's on top of 1/2" plywood?

adviced appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Bob

Apply your durock as well.

The durock provides no strength to the floor. It isolates movement/expansion in the subfloor.
