Marble threshold issue

Hi all, this is my first time posting, so thanks in advance for any help you can throw my way. I recently had a new tile floor put in my bathroom. I opted for a strip of white marble (purchased at Lowe's) to be used as the threshold. My guy who installed the threshold appears to have used grout (although it could be mortor) to secure the threshold. At the end of the project, he slathered the grout/tile sealer (which also contains a high shine component) all over the floor, including on the marble strip. Of course, I didn't notice it until much later and now the marble appears to have a filmy appearance on it. Any recommendations on how to get my marble looking new again?
Thanks,
Kathy in Indy

Do you know what brand sealer was used?

You might try to clean it with some acetone and a soft cloth. It would be better to have the name of the product and call the manufacturer for their recommendation.

Better yet - call that installer and let him fix it.
