exterior sundeck with porcelain tile

I have completed the steps up to installing the tile on my sundeck. Aprox. 300 sq.ft., wood subfloor with EPDM membrane. How thick and what kind of float should I use in north central texas.

You need to give us details on what you did so far. EPDM membrane is for outdoor garden and fish ponds. There are issues with the EPDM membrane and cement based products that you will be using.

Start at the beginning, telling us about the framing, subfloor and anything on top of it. You didnt use pt lumber right? You did pitch the sundeck 1/4" per foot right?

300 sf with EPMD membrane?

Ouch, that mistake will cost a couple dollars. Post back with the questions Johnny asked and look at www.noblecompany.com and check out "Nobledeck" or check out Schluter Ditra at www.schluter.com
