Grout Consistency

I Just mixed a batch of grout and it has the consistency of apple sauce. When mixing it the batter doesn't drip off the mixing stick. But I still feel it is two fluid. I mixed half of the 10lb of dry grout with 26 0z" of enhancer and the other half of the 10 lb with 26 0z of water. however I didn' use half the water afraid it was not dense enough. any suggestions? in process now asap would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like it's ok.

What is this "enhancer" you speak of?

What type of grout?

I've made grout to be a thick peanut butter consistancy, and made it more loose, never had any issues. You just don't want a ton of water.

Also, you want the grout to slake. After mixing, wait 10 minutes, then mix it again.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUICK REPLY. The enhancer is put out by the same company that packaged the grout. It is a sand Grout. The enhanser is an anti fugus inhibitor. I am working downstairs and just applied the grout. I am in the process of cleaning up with a damp sponge Hard sponge. I will get the brand of grout and enhancer for you. One problem I am having is the the grout seems like it is not filling the gap line fully ? I will be right back. The grout is Laticrete 1500 sand Grout gap is 3/8 - 1/4 wide enhancer isLaticrete 1776 bought it at Lowes . Question the grout has just been applied hour or so ago I was thinking I could apply more grout to fill grout where it looks low. My grout is still can be stirred. Suggestions

You should push the grout into the lines at an angle.
