What to do about a tile floor that's too slick

I had a tile floor layed in our bathroom, and it's super slick when it gets wet. In fact, I just got majorly yelled out by my other half that he could have fallen and broken a bone or two. Is there any sort of treatment I can apply to the tile to mitigate for the super-slick surface? I did not anticipate this problem -- I had purchased a basic white tile at Home Depot. But in retrospect it was a poor choice. Thanks for any input.

I don't believe there is anything you can do. Any type of coating would wear off.

Hang in there and maybe someone else will know of something.

Put down a rug with a non-slip backing. I don't know what else there is you can do.

do a google search for "non slip coating ceramic tile". There are quite a few products out there, but I havent used any of them to recommend one.
