Removing marble threshold

Hi,

I have a marble threshold between my tiled bathroom and hardwood hallway. I'd like to replace it with a wooden threshold. What do I need to do to remove the marble one?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Hit it with a hammer to create some cracks in it then lift the pieces with a 5 way tool or a stiff spackle knife. Use the hammer and 5 way to scrape out any residual thinset that remains attached to the floor

also a nice big flat head screwdriver works to get it up.

tape off the hardwood and protect it with some cardboard too.
you'll hate it if you make a mark in it while taking out the threshold.

Thank you. Sounds simple and direct. "Bah! Puny marble! Hulk smash!"
